The semifinal and final evening of the second edition of the Christmas Contest 2022 was also held at Forum Studios in Rome. The contest was sponsored by the Pontifical Foundation Gravissimum Educationis. The evening was led by Giò Di Tonno.

The jury composed of Roberto Cenci, Adriano Pennino, Silvia Notargiacomo, Dario Salvatori and Gianni Ruggio, first listened to the 16 semifinalist songs and then to the 8 finalist songs that were performed live by Andrea Spuntarelli, Eliana Tumminelli (NaElia), Felicity Lucchesi, Giuseppe Foresta (Foresta), Lorenzo Pompili (Nùma), Nicole Hammett, Valerio Buchicchio (Buva) and Veronica Kirchmajer. At the end of the evening, the three winners were:

Best Music:
Felicity Lucchesi with the song “Christmas Comet
Best Interpretation:
Eliana Tumminelli (NaElia) with the song “Ipotizziamo Io e Te”.

The three winners performed together with international artists on the stage of the Concerto di Natale (30th edition) held at the Auditorium della Conciliazione on Thursday, December 17, 2022. 

Pope Francis received the 16 finalists in audience along with the organizers of the Christmas Contest.

At the conclusion of the Christmas Contest 2022, a digital compilation was created with the eight songs that reached the finale. Per ascoltarli clicca qui. 
The compilation is in support of the educational project "Good makes news!" promoted by the Pontifical Foundation Gravissimum Educationis. Selected journalism students from Catholic universities in India and the Philippines participate in this project by getting involved in training activities and internships in Rome. Like the Contest, the "Good is News!" project aims to make young people protagonists of responsible and good-oriented communication.
